Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Found this adorable plant shop through Instagram and decided to stop by to look for some indoor plants. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable and helped me pick a beginner plant. I ended up getting the ZZ plant and also a really nice pot to go with it. Support your local-owned businesses!

Absolutely love Plantitas!!!!! Nicest people, amazing layout, incredible selection. I love that they are so much more than a plant store- they spotlight local artists and provide space for all kinds of fun goodies :). Went yesterday and bought a Raven ZZ that I’ve wanted for years!! When I saw they had it I knew it was timeβ€” no one takes care of their plants like Plantitas! 10/10 would recommend next time you are on retro row.

I was recommended Plantitas by a friend and it did not disappoint !!!! This location offers repotting at a reasonable price with fresh and good quality soil. Chi helped repot my monstera and pothos. He was very knowledgeable and gave me tips on how to help my plant baby thrive. Thank you so much for the help! I will definitely be back 🀩

The most magical plant store of all time. Not only is there a large variety, they carry special plants for the true true plant lover. One of my first experiences (years ago at the old location) was when one of the owners almost talked me out of buying a plant if I wasnt 100% sure I could care for the plant with the proper care that it needed and that’s when I knew that this place has a true dedication to their craft!! They also have very reasonable prices w/o having to drive to LA, and they do so much for the community to give back. I just love them so much, the location and decor is pristine, the most helpful staff with true hearts of gold!! Thank you plantiitas for being so amazing.
